Itinerary
Day
1: ABABA ABABA:
Arrive Addis upon evening arrival in
Addis Ababa
,
Ethiopia, members on the group flight are greeted with the traditional
Ethiopian hospitality at the airport and transferred to the hotel.
Day 2:
ADDIS ABABA
- BAHIR DAR:
After breakfast transfer to the Airport for your flight to Bahir
Dar. After check in, you immediately drive to the
Blue Nile
falls 32 kms far from Bahir Dar town. Back to Bahir Dar for Lunch.
In the afternoon Boat trip on lake Tana visit of one of the
Iceland
with its monastery called “Ura-Kidanemihret”. Dinner and
overnight at your hotel.
Day 3: BAHIR DAR –
GONDAR
: After breakfast transfer to the airport for the
flight to
Gondar
. Lunch and in the afternoon city tour of the 17th
century town of
Gondar
with its castle compound. You will visit also one of the beautiful
churches "Debre Birhan Sellassie" very known for its
mural paintings as well as drive for a short visit of the visit of
the village of the former Ethiopian Jews. Dinner and overnight at
your hotel.
Day 4:
GONDAR
– LALIBELA:
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lalibela. Be met at the
airport and transfer to your hotel. After lunch you start visiting
the 1st and the 2nd part of the rock hewn churches of Lalibela,
all carved out (inside and outside) of a solid rock and are
architecturally unique ranked among the wonders of the world.
Dinner and overnight at your hotel..
Day 5:
LALIBELA–AXUM:
After breakfast you will check out from your hotel and be
transferred to the airport for your flight to
Axum
. In the Afternoon sight seeing of
Axum
which includes the stelaes, believed to have been erected during
1st century. The St. Mary Church of "Maria Tsion" where
the
Ark
of the Convenient of Mosses have been rested, the graves and
palaces of the kings of the Axumite king "Ezana" of 4th
century etc… are some of the attractions to be seen within
Axum
. Dinner and overnight in Yeha hotel.
Day
6: AXUM-
ADDIS : Morning transfer to the airport for your
flight back to
Addis Ababa
. Visit
Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa
is located at 2,500 meters above sea level at the footstep of the
highest parts of series of Mountain chain. Addis is also the seat
of African Union (AU) and many International offices and over 100
Embassies. It enjoys an excellent climate all year round; with an
average temperature of 16°C.
Addis Ababa
is a pleasant city with wide avenues of jacarandas, interesting
museums and one of the largest open-air markets in
Africa
, known as the Merkato. After early breakfast we will visit the
National
Museum
(a multi-collections representing
Ethiopia
's past and present image). Among the famous exhibits, the 3.5
million year old skeleton of 'Lucy' is worth visiting. We will
also visit the Ethiopian Studies Institute Ethnological museum for
it’s extraordinarily collection of the priceless and varied
ethnic medley. Then we continue driving up to the mount (over 3000
meters) Entoto, the first seat of Emperor Menelik II before he
established
Addis Ababa
as the capital of
Ethiopia
in 1886. Visitors will also have the opportunity to visit Trinity
Cathedral and Merkato. Along our way we will have the chance to
see avenues, squares, obelisks and many places of interests and
shopping. Early evening, we will have a coffee ceremony to show
our appreciation for touring with us, Fest Ethiopia Travel &
Tour. Late at night transfer to the
Bole
International
Airport
and depart for home.

children that adopted us and followed us all around.
